El Pasoans celebrate Three Kings Day with traditional bread

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Pasoans are embracing the annual tradition of La Rosca de Reyes, or Three Kings Day, by gathering to share the sweet, ring-shaped bread.

Families take turns slicing the bread to find the tiny plastic baby hidden inside.

The person who finds the baby is tasked with hosting a party on Feb. 2. Pastor Miguel Briseno of MT Carmel Church said, “It’s a beautiful tradition that brings families together.”…
