Builder’s group says ICE raiding construction sites without warrants

McALLEN, Texas (Border Report) — The head of the South Texas Builders Association says immigration agents are raiding border construction sites without warrants.

Mario Guerrero, executive director of the South Texas Builders Association, says that Immigration Customs and Enforcement agents are entering job sites and rounding up workers illegally.

He says this is causing bankruptcies within the South Texas construction industry and causing many construction-related businesses to shut down or to significantly lose money.

“We were told that there has to be some sort of warrant that needs to be presented when these federal agents show up to construction sites. And there’s no warrants being presented,” Guerrero said Thursday during a press call hosted by the American Business Immigration Coalition…
