CRRUA says it has passed latest arsenic tests

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Camino Real Regional Utility Authority (CRRUA) said it has passed its monthly arsenic tests for January.

Test results, released by Eurofins Environment Testing, a water lab certified by the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED), show the Sunland Park Arsenic Treatment Facility (ATF) at 4.4 parts per billion (ppb,) Santa Teresa Community ATF at levels that were “not detected,” Santa Teresa Industrial ATF at 4.0 ppb and Border Entry ATF at 5.0 ppb. The test results are from samples taken Jan. 6.
