El Paso to go from gorgeous days to winter again

We have big changes ahead in your 9-Day Forecast… from 70 on Thursday to a low in the valley of 15 on Monday morning with rain, chilly winds, sleet, and even light snow in between. Here’s your exclusive 9-Hour Forecast for Wednesday with your 9-Day Forecast below.

TONIGHT:   The skies will be mostly clear with just a few high, thin clouds, and the winds will be light.  Variable winds will range from calm to 10 mph.  Lows will drop to 29 at the airport, 25 in the valley.

FORECAST:   Wednesday will be mostly sunny and gorgeous with a high of 65.  The light, variable winds will range from 5-10 mph.  Thursday will start out sunny but will turn mostly cloudy.  We have the potential to touch 70 that day due to high pressure and SW winds at 10-20 mph. On Friday, much colder air pushes into the Borderland in anticipation of a very cold weekend.  Under cloudy skies, expect scattered rain showers.  Friday’s high: 50. The cooler winds blow in from the east-NE at 10-30 mph. On Saturday, that significant cold front becomes much colder and drops the high to 44.  Expect chilly winds and a mixture of rain and sleet.  The NE-east winds will gust near 30 mph.  Late Saturday night around midnight (give or take), the light rain/sleet mix will shift over to light snow for early Sunday morning.  Sunday will be mostly cloudy and 40 through the day.  Accumulations should be minimal to light, but the mountains are likely to see a very nice dusting.  The skies clear late Sunday night leaving us with an extremely cold 20 Monday morning…
