FORECAST: Wednesday will be mostly sunny and gorgeous with a high of 65. The light, variable winds will range from 5-10 mph. Thursday will start out sunny but will turn mostly cloudy. We have the potential to touch 70 that day due to high pressure and SW winds at 10-20 mph. On Friday, much colder air pushes into the Borderland in anticipation of a very cold weekend. Under cloudy skies, expect scattered rain showers. Friday’s high: 50. The cooler winds blow in from the east-NE at 10-30 mph. On Saturday, that significant cold front becomes much colder and drops the high to 44. Expect chilly winds and a mixture of rain and sleet. The NE-east winds will gust near 30 mph. Late Saturday night around midnight (give or take), the light rain/sleet mix will shift over to light snow for early Sunday morning. Sunday will be mostly cloudy and 40 through the day.
