HORIZON CITY, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A traffic stop in Horizon City led to the arrest of a suspected human smuggler and a drug bust.
According to the Horizon City Police Department, on the night of Jan. 16, 21-year-old Christopher Morales and 17-year-old Steven Pedroza were arrested after the vehicle they were traveling in was pulled over near the 13800 block of Darrington Road, near the Whataburger on Horizon Blvd.
Officers said that during the traffic stop, they learned that Morales was wanted by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for charges related to human smuggling and a crash that damaged property without notifying the owner…
