Sniper rifles among 69 firearms linked to alleged ‘straw purchases’

EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) – A federal grand jury in Arizona has charged a man and a woman with making false statements in the purchase of firearms.

Nina Dallas began purchasing guns on Feb. 13, 2024, from various vendors in the Phoenix area, court records show. Purchases made in the following 13 months included Glock pistols, VSKA rifles (versions of the Russian Kalashnikov 7.62 caliber), at one Barrett .50-caliber rifle.
