EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Military service members and civilians from across the country will gather next month at White Sands Missile Range for the annual Bataan Memorial Death March. The 26.2-mile endurance event honors the sacrifice of World War II veterans.
Opening ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 6:35 a.m., with participants stepping off shortly afterward and continuing along the course throughout the day. Organizers expect marchers from all branches of the U.S. Armed Services, as well as civilian participants and Wounded Warriors, to take part in the event.
