EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso businessman and philanthropist Fred Loya Sr. has died, according to a news release by Fred Loya Insurance on Sunday, Feb. 22.
“It is with profound sadness that we confirm the passing of Fred Loya, who passed peacefully on Saturday, surrounded by his loving family,” read the release.
The family will be holding private services, and is asking the community to honor the family’s wishes to allow them space to mourn peacefully.
“During this deeply difficult time, the family respectfully asks for privacy as they grieve the loss of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. While we understand the tremendous interest and the many lives he touched, we ask the community to honor the family’s wishes and allow them the space to mourn privately.”…
