EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Twenty-seven people were arrested by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency DWI Task Force over the Valentine’s Day weekend.
Of the 27 arrests, 19 individuals were charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), including offenses such as second DWI, third or more DWIs, DWI with an open container and DWI with blood alcohol concentration that was twice the legal limit.
Additional arrests included felony narcotics offenses, family violence assault, fugitive from justice, evading arrest, and multiple outstanding traffic warrants.
