Precinct 4 county commissioner candidates outline priorities as 2026 primaries begin

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — With the 2026 primary elections underway, candidates in the County Commissioner Precinct 4 race are outlining what they say are their top priorities for the county, including veterans services, property taxes and infrastructure.

Leo Arcos, a candidate for County Commissioner Precinct 4, said, “We need to change okay, we definitely need a change,” adding, “I’m a veteran was born here and I’m gonna help hundreds of veterans.” Arcos said the county needs to “do a better job here in the county to enhance the veteran Offices,” and “ensure that they get taken care of.”

Arcos also pointed to property taxes, saying, “We have Property taxes, okay. We cannot continue as the county rely on property taxes to cover a deficit.”…
