El Pasoans are opening their gas bills this month and doing a double take.
According to a new report fromKFOX-TV (KFOX14), residents across the city say their latest statements from Texas Gas Service are dramatically higher than what they have been paying, in some cases nearly double.
Bills Nearly Double for Some Residents
Multiple customers told KFOX14 they were caught off guard and said they never received notice of a major increase. After digging into their itemized bills, some noticed specific line items that appeared to spike sharply.
