One of Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino’s signature races, the 62nd running of the Grade III, 400-yard West Texas Derby, will be the featured race on Saturday.
The race is for 3-year-old quarter horses, some of which are among the nation’s best. The first race of the day is at 12:25 p.m. The West Texas Derby will be race No. 8 with an expected post time of 3:32 p.m.
