Sheriff’s Office wants high-school students to design coloring book

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is inviting high-school students across the County to participate in a new creative initiative by helping to design the agency’s first-ever law-enforcement-themed coloring book. The project calls on students to submit original black-and-white coloring page designs that reflect law enforcement, community partnerships, public safety, and the mission of the Sheriff’s Office.

Selected artwork will be featured in the official EPCSO Coloring Book, which will be unveiled in the fall of 2026 and distributed at community events.“This project allows us to highlight the creativity of our local students while strengthening the connection between law enforcement and the community we serve,” Sheriff Oscar Ugarte said.The contest is open to all high-school students residing in El Paso County. Submissions must be original and suitable for use as a coloring page.Submission Guidelines:

  • Open to all high-school students in El Paso County
  • Artwork must be original black-and-white line art suitable for coloring
  • Designs should reflect law enforcement, community partnerships, safety or the Sheriff’s Office
  • Submissions must be sent electronically in PDF or high-resolution format.

The deadline for submissions is May 1.
