SEWARD — Emergency crews responded Saturday afternoon to a search and rescue call on the Canes Head Trail near Lowell Point after a hiker suffered a lower limb injury.
According to the Department of Public Safety dispatch on the incident, Seward troopers were notified at approximately 3:16 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, that a 30-year-old woman from El Paso, Texas, had been injured on the trail and was unable to hike out without assistance.
