Live Active El Paso announces return of citywide Hike-A-Thon Series

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Locals will once again have the opportunity to explore local trails this spring as Live Active El Paso launches its 2026 Hike-A-Thon series.

The series is an initiative of the City’s Parks and Recreation Department, designed to encourage physical activity while showcasing natural spaces throughout the area. The series features five guided hikes at trailheads across the city, with routes ranging from beginner-friendly paths to moderately challenging terrain.

“Our outdoor hike series shows how we can motivate our community to stay active while exploring the natural beauty of our local trails,” said Parks and Recreation Director Pablo Caballero in a release to KTSM. “It’s a great opportunity to get your steps in, enjoy the outdoors, connect with fellow residents, and make healthy living part of your routine.”…
