EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 19-year-old was arrested and charged after striking a family member this past Saturday, March 7, at a residence in Horizon, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
Police say at around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, they responded to a residence at the 14000 block of Desierto Bueno in reference to a domestic assault in progress.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who had a swollen lip, and told police that she had been assaulted by her sister inside the residence, police said.
