A historic El Paso landmark that once housed a prominent local couple and the Mexican Consulate is ready for its next chapter.

The iconic Kohlberg mansion, celebrated for its craftsmanship and incredible views of Downtown El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, is on the market for $1.2 million. The stately residence at 525 Corto Way was constructed in 1910 for Ernst and Olga Kohlberg. Ernst Kohlberg was an El Paso civic leader and founder of the first cigar factory in the Southwest, while Olga is famous as a women’s rights activist of her time and is credited with founding the first kindergarten in Texas.
