EPISD students among Rep. Escobar’s US service academy nominees

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, announced 21 nominees to four of the five U.S. Service Academies. Four nominees are students from the El Paso Independent School District.

To be considered for an appointment to a service academy, applicants must be nominated by an authorized nominating source, which includes members of Congress, according to a news release by Escobar’s Office.

On Saturday, March 7, Escobar announced her nominees. Here is the full list of nominees and their academy:
