EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department will increase traffic enforcement to focus on reducing dangerous driving behaviors.
The enforcement will take place from Saturday, March 13, through Saturday, March 22, according to a news release by the City of El Paso. Officers will focus on the following driving behaviors:
- Driving While Intoxicated (DWI)
- Speeding
- Distracted driving
- Safety belt violations
- Controlled intersection violations
“The goal is to improve roadway safety and encourage drivers to follow traffic laws. Motorists are advised to drive responsibly, stay alert and comply with all traffic regulations,” read the news release.
