No injuries, no building extension after early-morning refrigeration unit fire in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas – (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Fire Department responded to a condition one fire early Tuesday morning in central El Paso.

Kris Menendez, battalion chief for the department, says the call came in around 5 a.m. at the 100 block of Palm Street for a report of a structure fire.

When crews arrived on scene, Menendez says they spotted a fire in a refrigeration unit on the outside of the building…
