On March 24, 2026, deputies and medical crews responded to a home on the 15400 block of Jessie Drive in the Gleneagle area for an unresponsive 4-year-old. The child was revived after several doses of Narcan and taken to a local hospital. Investigators found drugs and paraphernalia in the home. Meghan Anderson was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Jail on charges of Child Abuse, Second Degree Assault, Attempted Child Abuse, and Reckless Endangerment, with bond set at $100,000. The Department of Human Services has taken custody of the child.
