EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A long-planned, $80 million amphitheater project in Northeast El Paso is now expected to open in early 2027, even though construction has not yet begun at the site.
Venu held a groundbreaking for the Sunset Amphitheater El Paso in November at the former Cohen Stadium site, near Gateway North Boulevard and Cohen Avenue.
The venue had previously been expected to be ready by the end of this year, but the opening has been delayed to early 2027…
