Semi-truck crash on Gateway West knocks out power for more than 2,000 in East El Paso

EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A semi-truck crash in East El Paso has caused a large power outage, leaving over 2,000 customers without power on Thursday evening.

According to the El Paso Police Department, an 18-wheeler was involved in a collision at 11751 Gateway West, causing a power outage.

While EPPD said information is limited, the El Paso Fire Department said the call came in at 7:50 p.m., and there were no transports to local hospitals…
