EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 30-year-old man threatened to kill a 43-year-old man and caused damage to multiple organs after attacking him and another man last week in Anthony, Texas, according to court documents obtained by KTSM.
As KTSM previously reported, on Wednesday, March 25, deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 500 block of Franklin St. on reports of two men suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Man arrested after double stabbing in Anthony, Texas
Andrew Martinez, 30, was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault against a family member with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with no bond.
When deputies arrived, they rendered aid until emergency services arrived and spoke with Martinez’s mother, who said she witnessed the altercation.
After several minutes of attempting to locate the suspect, Martinez returned to the scene wearing the same clothing covered in blood and was taken into custody. When he was arrested, the deputy noted that Martinez was in possession of four knives, two of which still had blood on them, and an expandable rod, according to court documents…
