UTEP students, faculty, staff volunteer for community projects

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — About 600 UTEP students, faculty, staff and alumni went out into the community on Saturday, April 4 to give back.

UTEP conducted its annual Project MOVE (Miner Opportunities for Volunteer Experiences), its annual day of giving.

About 600 volunteers from UTEP did 30 projects around the community at 24 different locations, said Cesar Macias, program coordinator and manager for the Center for Community Engagement at UTEP.
