Law firm seeks identity of ‘Sugar Daddy’ of suspected hit-and-run driver

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A law firm representing the family of 56-year-old Jaime Andrade, the man who was killed in an alleged hit-and-run crash in Northwest El Paso, is seeking the public’s help to identify a person of interest who is believed to have been with the suspected driver.

“Cesar Ornelas Injury Law represents the Andrade family. Our objective is clear: Identify every responsible party and pursue full accountability on behalf of a family that lost someone they cannot get back,” the statement read in part.

KTSM 9 News previously reported that 19-year-old Ambar Chavaria rear-ended Andrade’s vehicle, which had been involved in a four-vehicle crash Monday night, April 6, along the 6300 block of North Desert Boulevard. Chavaria’s vehicle struck the vehicle after the it was involved in the separate crash.

Two witnesses at the scene assisted Andrade out of the vehicle and he was taken to a hospital, where he later died due to his injuries. Chavaria reportedly left the scene, leaving her vehicle.

Chavaria’s mother later reported her daughter to police, saying she fled from the crash and refused to return or go to a station. When officers arrived, Chavaria explained that she had drunk four alcoholic beverages at a bar earlier in the evening with her “Sugar Daddy.”…
