NM 4-week-old baby girl’s injuries raise suspicion; father booked

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department launched an investigation following a report of possible child abuse of a four-week-old baby girl from Anthony, New Mexico.

According to court documents, a criminal investigator with the Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Department was requested after an official from the New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department reported a baby had bruising on her back and abdominal areas, as well as a possible fractured tibia and suspected child abuse.
