El Paso police chase ends in New Mexico standoff, lockdowns

A man is jailed in El Paso after a police chase across the Texas-New Mexico state line that sparked a standoff and lockdowns in Anthony, New Mexico.

Miguel Angel Anchondo, 28, who is a New Mexico resident, was arrested on two felony counts of evading arrest with a vehicle. He was booked on a total bond of $65,000 at the El Paso County jail in Downtown on Sunday, April 19, according to jail records. No attorney is listed for him as of Monday, April 20.
