EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A woman, described as a repeat DWI offender, was arrested over the weekend during a traffic stop in far East El Paso, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said.
Just before 3 a.m., a deputy pulled over a Ford F-150 pickup truck at the intersection of North Zaragoza Road and John Hayes Street after seeing it travel “at a high rate of speed,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
During the investigation, the deputy made contact with the driver, identified as 35-year-old Erica Vianney Becerra. The deputy saw multiple signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, glossy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol, the Sheriff’s Office said…
