One of four charged in 2024 fatal beating found guilty of homicide

(WJET/WFXP)– One of four people arrested in connection with the beating murder of an Erie man in 2024 has been convicted of third-degree murder at trial.

According to Trial Chief Deputy District Attorney Jeremy Lightner, 39-year-old Jeffery Edmond was convicted by an Erie County jury of third-degree murder, aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault for the murder of 31-year-old Ledomperignon Eady.

Deliberations in the case on Thursday continued overnight with the jury returning a guilty verdict Friday morning…
