Golfers took to the fairways at Mound Grove Golf Course on Wednesday for the annual Housing ‘Fore’ All Erie’s Homeless Charity Golf Tournament, an event dedicated to raising funds and awareness for individuals experiencing homelessness in the Erie community.
The tournament brought together community members, sponsors, and supporters for a day of golf benefiting Erie’s Community Shelter Services, an organization that works to support Erie County’s homeless population through housing assistance and support programs.
The day began with breakfast at 8 a.m., giving participants an opportunity to connect before the competition got underway. Golfers then headed to the course for a 9 a.m. shotgun start, kicking off a morning of friendly competition in support of a meaningful cause.
Funds raised through the event will help provide essential services and resources for some of the community’s most vulnerable residents. Organizers say the tournament serves as both a fundraiser and an opportunity to bring attention to the ongoing need for housing and homelessness assistance throughout the region…
