A 16-year-old is being charged as an adult under the Fisher Bill after police said he attempted to kill someone with a gun.
According to police, at around 8 pm Sunday night, they responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 1600 block of Buffalo Road.

They tracked down a car that appeared to be fleeing the scene and identified everyone inside, including Joseph Turner, whom they identified as their main suspect.
Turner is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and possession of a gun.

“They observed this suspect leave that residence in the 1000 block of West 21st Street. This was about 11 o’clock in the morning into the afternoon. They attempted to stop and ID that individual.
