Calm weather provided some much-needed relief Saturday as people across the city spent another day cleaning up from Wednesday’s severe storms.
Tree removal crews have been working around the clock to clear downed trees and large limbs from homes, yards and roadways.
Scott Litz, owner of Scott’s Stump and Tree Removal, has been in the tree and stump removal business for 34 years. He said he has never seen destruction this extensive. “All the storms added together don’t equal this”, said Litz.
Litz said much of the damage may not be immediately visible because it is located in backyards, “There’s a lot of damage. There’s a lot of damage people don’t even see because it’s in backyards. They are seeing what’s in the streets and front yards, but there’s a lot of damage in backyards.”…
