Saturday was a beautiful morning for golfers to tee off at the second annual PAL Golf Tournament.
Due to the tournament’s popularity, this year’s event was held at Beechwood Golf Club. The fundraiser was sold out, with all proceeds benefiting PAL programs, specifically activities and field trips for participating youth.
Captain Tom Lenox said he is proud of how much the mentorship program has grown over the past ten years. He said the program has helped young men and women build strong relationships with one another and members of the police department.
Lenox said PAL mentors will soon head back into the classroom to get more students involved in the program…
