Erie County officials are directing approximately $200,000 in funding to local shelters and homeless-service organizations in an effort to strengthen resources for residents experiencing homelessness.
The funding initiative is a partnership between the Erie County Administration, Erie County Care Management (ECCM), and the Erie County Department of Human Services (DHS). The money will be distributed among 10 shelters and homeless-serving organizations that participate in Erie County’s Coordinated Entry system, a network designed to connect individuals and families with housing assistance and support services.
