Odis 12 officially opened its second location Wednesday at the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority’s joint operations facility on East 14th Street, becoming the first business to open in the transit authority’s newly branded commercial retail area, known as the MidCity Strip.
The MidCity Strip encompasses EMTA’s commercial storefront space along East 14th Street and is designed to create a distinct identity separate from the agency’s transit operations while encouraging business growth in the area.
“We’re pleased to welcome Odis 12 as the first business to open at the MidCity Strip,” said Jeremy Peterson, CEO of EMTA. “Bringing businesses like Odis 12 to this area creates more activity and opportunity along 14th Street and helps us continue building a space that serves not only our passengers, but the surrounding community as well.”
The restaurant began customizing the space in late 2025. The retail build-out was completed with the help of state and federal funding, paving the way for the business to move into the location.
Owner Mike Miodis said the expansion marks an exciting milestone for the restaurant…
