(WJET/WFXP/ YourErie.com ) — An Erie man has been added to the Pennsylvania State Police’s Ten Most Wanted list.
Michael Edward Akerly was added to the list according to state police. He’s described as 6 foot, 4 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and has a scar on his right leg.

According to the list, Akerly is wanted for a 1998 rape and aggravated indecent assault in Erie. He was previously seen in Wattsburg, Pennsylvania, Chautauqua, New York, and North Carolina and is known to visit music stores and recording studios.
