City of Erie hosting meeting next week on Greengarden Bikeway Project

(WJET/WFXP/ YourErie.com )– The City of Erie is inviting the public to their next meeting on their planned series of bikeways next week.

The meeting on the city’s Active Erie Greengarden Blvd. Bikeway Plan is set for Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at Erie City Hall– located at 626 State St.– in City Council chambers.

City council considers allocating over $400,000 for Greengarden Bikeway Project

During the meeting, residents will be given a recap of the Active Erie plan and parking exceptions for the Greengarden Blvd. plan with residents also being given the chance to comment on the plan in person.

The meeting will also be live-streamed on the City of Erie’s YouTube and Facebook pages.

Members of Erie City Council will also be discussing a $428,000 fund allocation for the project along with parking exceptions for along Greengarden Blvd. for deliveries, church and religious services and major holidays at their next meeting.
