(WJET/WJET/ YourErie.com )– A Springboro woman has been charged with animal cruelty after state police said she left a dog out in freezing temperatures.
According to PSP Girard, troopers were first contacted on Jan. 20 just after 9 p.m. for a dog left in a car in the 20 block of Water St. in Springboro.

Troopers said they found a dog locked inside a vehicle at the address with temperatures well below freezing.
Police have since charged the dog’s owner, identified as a 34-year-old Springboro woman, with animal cruelty.
