The Erie Ford dealer gives away a vehicle to a local nonprofit as a part of their Friendship Express program every year.

“We have a pretty small fleet of vehicles that we use. I would say some of those vehicles are on the last leg so having this van will really help us be able to get across all of our service areas safely and to get food to the people in need,” said Breanna Watts, director of development at Second Harvest Food Bank.
“Every year that we’ve done this there’s been 20, 30, 40 people who have applied for this. They have a plied every year and never gave up on it and that was really a resounding message that we saw when we were going through the applications,” said Mark Winkler, selection committee Ford Friendship Express.
