White Pine Center presented with donation from MYAA

A local non-profit received a donation from a Millcreek athletic association.

White Pine Center for Healing received a check of $1,000 from the Millcreek Youth Athletic Association after the MYAA’s end-of-the-year initiative.

The executive director of White Pine Center said the donation will be helpful as their outreach and prevention programs are grant and donation-based. The commissioner of the MYAA said it is exciting to give back to the community.

“We would like to expand more in the Millcreek School District elementary schools actually so this is the perfect fit for that,” said Mary Machuga, executive director of White Pine Venter for Healing.
