A Peach Street building that served as a pet hospital for decades and has sat vacant for years has a potential buyer.
The sale of the former Glenwood Pet Hospital building at 3853 Peach St. is pending, Realtor Jake Scheloske confirmed. Scheloske, vice president of sales for Agresti Real Estate, declined to name the potential buyer but said they are local. He didn’t know their intended use for the property.
About the property
Built in 1954, the former pet hospital building is 6,054 square feet with three bathrooms and sits on a .21-acre lot that includes parking.
Scheloske said the site is a “good prime location on Peach Street” but the building has been vacant and needs work.
In a 2016 Erie Times-News story about the pet hospital’s decision to leave the Glenwood neighborhood, one of the veterinarians said the site didn’t have room for the business to expand.
