Winter weather has a way of taking a toll on our roadways and fluctuating and inconsistent weather certainly doesn’t help those conditions.
Wednesday night we heard from a LeBouef Township resident who has been pleading for changes to the roads surrounding his home.
Potholes in pavement are an issue typically dealt with in the spring but potholes like the ones seen in LeBouef Township on dirt roads are a totally different story.
“It’s just where we are. I just feel like we’re totally unnoticed out here,” said Dale Tshudy, lebouef township resident.

What you’re seeing here on Old Meadville Road in LeBouef Township is what one resident said is the best condition this road will be in all year, as they were just worked on this week. But some say it won’t last long.
This is what residents living nearby are used to and it’s something one man said is a problem year-round.
“What we deal with really in short is half a year of muck and potholes that are so numerous you have to pick which one to hit, they’re that dense, and the other half of the year we have those same potholes and dust so thick that we can’t even open our windows,” Tshudy explained.
