Property taxes, stormwater management fees sent out for Erie Co., City

The City of Erie is reminding residents that the 2024 city and county property taxes and stormwater fees have been sent out.

City of Erie Treasurer Casimir J. Kwitowski said residents can expect those bills to arrive in the mail and if City of Erie taxpayers do not receive them before the end of the month to call 814-870-1210.

Local state reps announce nearly $160K grant for Erie Co. schools

Local tax collection law states that failure to receive notice does not relieve taxpayers from paying the taxes owed and they will be charged as if they had received notice.

Property taxes and the stormwater fee can be paid any of the following ways:

  • City of Erie Taxpayers can pay their Property Taxes & Stormwater Fee at the Treasurer’s Office, 626 State St, Room 105, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
  • Residents can deposit the 2024 Property Tax and Stormwater Fee bills with a check or money order in the outside drop box located in front of City Hall’s 626 State Street entrance.
  • Residents can pay online at the City of Erie’s website Cityof.erie.pa.us with Visa, MasterCard & Discover. Please note, online payments include a convenience fee.
  • Taxpayers can mail in their full payments with bills to:
    • City of Erie Treasurer at P.O. Box 1534 Hermitage, PA 16148-0534
    • City or Erie Treasurer 626 State St. Room 105 Erie, PA 16501-1128
