Many people gathered to celebrate female friendships Saturday afternoon.
Werner Books and Coffee held a Galentine’s Day event at their bookstore. Bracelet making, sugar cookie decorating, wine tasting and clay crafts were offered for gal groups.

With their recent move, the co-owner says they are able to plan community events with the additional space.
“Galentines is just a really good way to take your friends, family and spend some quality time with them we really want to be a place where people feel they can do that,” Lauren Shoemaker, co-owner of Werner Books & Coffee.

Their next event is the Forgotten Classics Book Club which is taking place on Feb. 14 at 11 a.m.
