As the day of the total solar eclipse approaches, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) reminded people about the commonwealth’s four state parks in the path of totality.

The eclipse’s path crosses through Presque Isle, Erie Bluffs, Pymatuning and Maurice K. Goddard State Parks.

The DCNR said they’re encouraging visitors from all over on April 8, and are offering educational programs leading up to the eclipse.

They said if you’re planning on staying the night anywhere at the parks, get on it now, adding reservations and accommodations are filling up fast.
