Police on lookout for suspects involved with Walmart counterfeit currency incident

Erie County, Pa. ( WJET/WFXP ) — Pennsylvania State Police in Erie are searching for two suspects involved in a counterfeit currency crime at a Harborcreek Township Walmart.

According to a Feb. 13 report, state police responded to Walmart, 5741 Buffalo Road, on Jan. 22, 2024, and learned that a black male and black female had purchased about $725 worth of merchandise using counterfeit $100 bills.

Any persons with information are asked to contact the PSP Erie Station at 814-898-1641 and speak to Tpr. Eric Conroe.
