Erie Insurance has named Christy Blashock to serve as chief diversity and community development officer. She succeeds Christina Marsh, who is retiring at the end of February after almost 30 years with the company.
Blashock was named community outreach manager last year and has worked closely with company employees and the charitable giving committee of the company’s board of directors.
She joined Erie Insurance in 2018 as a lawyer in the corporate legal department.
An Erie native, Blashock earned her bachelor’s degree from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA from Pace University and her law degree from the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace.
