(WJET/WFXP) – A scammer impersonating law enforcement targeted a Pennsylvania resident and took $5,000 from them. According to an April 19 police report, a 58-year-old Erie woman was scammed out of $5,000 on April 10 after an unknown suspect claimed to be from law enforcement and requested the money for an alleged “missed hearing.”
