( WJET/WFXP ) — A Harborcreek neighborhood is now under a boil water advisory after a water outage affected the area.
The Harbor Ridge subdivision is affected by the boil water advisory which went into effect Thursday night. The advisory is expected to remain in effect until Saturday after a second round of testing, expected to take begin Friday.
According to Erie Water Works, the water outage is connected to PennDOT’s Depot Road improvement project which began this summer. Thankfully, no contamination is expected
